Torizen Schaumburg

Established in November of 2017, Torizen is a "ramen/izakaya" style restaurant concentrating on traditional Japanese dishes and the only restaurant in Illinois, specializing in Sapporo-style ramen noodle soup. Our owner/head chef has had over 20 years of experience as a chef and will strive to create, serve the best Japanese food, Torizen has to offer. The name, Torizen, is also meaningful. Tori stands for bird (since the business started in the year of the fowl) Zen means "meal" which describes the comfort style cooking you can experience at our casual restaurant.
